Have you often wonder why the Spirit of God doesn’t move in a way that we sometimes hunger for in the church? I have. I speak in tongues, sing in tongues, pray in tongues...but what about being drunk in the Spirit, dancing in the Spirt well in service and the worship team is worshiping in song or the preacher, preaching a message directly from God. How about the moves of God that happened back in the day when Kenneth Hagin, Katherine Kuhlman, AA Allen etc were all alive? Those were powerful preachers being used by God in a mighty way.
Than the scripture in Acts came to me about being in “Accord,” than the Lord gave me this illustration of people being in accord and someone cutting the cord making it ac~~cord cut in half, and the power of God put out...not manifesting the way He wants to in the church or in the people. What happened to a praying people who sincerely wanted more from God and weren’t back and forth?
Acts 2:1-4–“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
All the 120 of (Acts 1:15)were of one mind. None were uninterested, unconcerned, or lukewarm, but all were in earnest and united in faith and prayer.
